GET UP PROJECT
Gender Equality Toolkit Using Pedagogy
What is it?
This project is a transformative 3-year initiative
launched in January 2023 under the Erasmus+ programme.
Our Mission?
Redefining sports education through innovation, dismantling gender stereotypes, and championing inclusivity.
Who?
A consortium of eight organizations from five countries.
Our goal?
A comprehensive set of educational tools aimed to cultivate the sporting culture of young individuals and to combat gender-based discrimination.
Overcoming the Challenge:
-
4 out of 10 Europeans are not exposed to sporting activity.
-
Whereas 66% of the European men aged 15 or older are active sport participants, the number decreases by 8% for their female counterparts.
-
65.84% of the men participate in sports compared to 57.96% of the women.

GET UP aligns with European policies.
It not only envisions but actively contributes to collaborative efforts aimed at social inclusion, equal opportunities, and fostering a healthier lifestyle through sports.
