The Get up educational kit contains two games that enable young people aged 8 to 11 to learn about gender equality issues and discover female athletes.

Board Games

The kit includes two educational and interactive games designed to promote gender equality awareness while encouraging active participation:

“Get Up” Game:

The main aims of the game are to combat gender stereotypes in sport and encourage girls to take up sport. As they play, participants will discover exceptional sportswomen from different countries and different periods of history. The aim of the game is to win the competition by gaining the most points in a limited time. The winning team is the one with the most points (recorded on the “Personality” and “Truth” cards, minus the points on the “Penalty” cards) at the end of the two rounds.

Timeline Game:

This card game challenges players to uncover important historical milestones in women’s sports. Each card features a significant event related to the advancement of women in the sports world. The challenge is for players to guess the year or period when the event occurred. On the reverse side of the card, the correct date is provided, allowing players to learn and reflect on how far women have come in achieving equality in the sports arena. This game not only educates but also encourages participants to consider the historical journey of women in sports and the ongoing efforts to achieve gender equality.
